This is a vintage wristwatch dating to circa 1970. This is beautiful, clean, and in very good condition.
The watch runs well and keeps time. The time sets as it should. The day and date advance properly.
This is a diver style watch but you will want to have it pressure tested before you take it in the watcher. The case is all stainless steel and it is about 38mm wide not including the crown. It is about 46mm long to the tips of the lugs. The movement is a high quality Elgin M135 based on a PUW 1463 and it has 25 jewels. The band is a new, good quality genuine IW Suisse NATO Zulu strap. The total length of the watch is about 12 inches. This uses an 18 mm band which could easily be replaced if you prefer a different style or length. The crystal is clean and clear and has no scratches. The dial is very nice and is depicted accurately in the pictures. Please see my other listings... Please note that all pictures are taken on the macro setting.
This makes even the slightest imperfections and specks of dust appear much more prominent though they are often not visible without magnification. Please see the clear close-up pictures to further assess the condition of this watch. If you are uncertain about any of this watch's particulars, please feel free to ask questions! Please take time to see my other auctions this week. The item "Vintage Elgin Stainless Steel Diver Style Mens Day Date Watch M 135 25J 1970" is in sale since Thursday, August 5, 2021.
