Listing is for a very nice and very rare set (WITH papers) vintage Tag Heuer 980.913 1000 series. At the time of this listing, we also have a second red example in near New Old Stock condition available with box and papers.

Also of note regarding red Tag 1000s. Dont be fooled by the other so-called 980.913 models floating around for half the price. These are lower end Tag models with repainted dials and other modifications to pass them off as the real deal. See our Insta post (jkbenn02) about this very subject showing examples of the fakes. Details include bright green lume, non-sunburst dials, shallow caseback reference number engraving, non-original hands, etc.

This watch has been professionally serviced inside and out as described below. Reliable, fully functional, and ready to wear. Case size: 37.5mm without crown (40mm with crown and crown guards). New battery which should be good for two years or more. The movement is original and signed Tag Heuer 8/1989.

The crystal is new and flawless. It has been substantially upgraded to a sapphire crystal which is nearly unscratchable! The bezel insert is in good condition for its age. This watch comes with the original Tag Heuer jubilee bracelet which is in excellent condition and should fit up to a 7.25 wrist. All seals (case back, crown, and crystal gasket) were replaced.
