Vintage TAG HEUER 1000 Pro 980.006 Jumbo Monnin Style Diver Watch
Listing is for a nice vintage Tag Heuer 980.006n. This watch has been professionally serviced. Reliable, fully functional, and ready to wear. This is a watch for someone that wants the full vintage experience without the headaches.
It has all the patina you could want on the outside but has all new gaskets and a new sapphire to let the aged lume show through along with the very nice matte black dial. No rust or major signs of abuse, just an honest vintage watch with plenty of stories from many years in the field. Case size: 42mm without crown (44mm with crown and crown guards). New Swiss Renata battery which should be good for two years or more. The movement is the original Swiss ETA movement and it is running as intended though the movement service history is unknown.
The crystal is new and flawless. It has been substantially upgraded to a sapphire crystal which is nearly unscratchable! The bezel insert is original and has a beautiful patina to it with a highly desirable faded blue color. This watch comes with the original Tag Heuer jubilee bracelet which should fit up to a 7.25 wrist. All seals (case back, crown, and crystal gasket) were replaced.
This watch features a screw down crown. The watch was pressure tested to 30m after the seals were replaced. It passed with no leaks. Please message us if you have any questions. Thank you for looking and be sure to check out our other listings.
