Vintage TAG HEUER 1000 980.113 Lume Dial Submariner Night Diver Style Watch

  
Listing is for a very nice vintage pre-Tag Heuer 980.113. This is the earliest version that came before the L models and the much thinner later Tag models. This watch case has been professionally serviced. Fully functional and ready to wear.

Case size: 38mm without crown (40mm with crown and crown guards). See the last picture for a case comparison between a later Tag version and an early thick case example (different 1000 series but same thickness of case). The case is in excellent condition for its age. Signs of use are present but not abuse. It is a stunning watch in person and the like dial just makes it pop!

New battery which should be good for two years or more. The movement is original and appears very clean. It is signed Heuer and is running correctly at the time of our service. Movement service history is unknown but there were service marks on the inside of the case back prior to ultrasonic cleaning. The crystal is new and flawless.

It has been substantially upgraded to a sapphire crystal which is nearly unscratchable! The bezel insert is original and in excellent condition for its age.

Yes, there is a small imperfection here or there but overall it is in very nice condition compared to most. This watch comes with an aftermarket Tropic STYLE diver strap which has some wear and a cut in it. Message us for available strap options. All seals (case back, crown, and crystal gasket) were replaced. This watch features one of our custom unsigned screw down crowns (almost exactly replicating the original unsigned Heuer crowns) and tubes.
