Description: Rare SKX013-Sized Rolex Explorer Style Seiko SBBW055 5M43-0C50 Diver Scuba 200m Stainless Steel AGS/Kinetic Diver. Condition: Pre-owned; Very Good Condition. Excuding crown; 45mm lug-lug; 13mm thick; 19mm lug width.

Accessories: 19mm unused thick leather strap with original fat spring bars; No box/paper/tags. Notes: You have the opportunity to acquire a Rare SKX013-Sized Rolex Explorer Style Seiko SBBW055 5M43-0C50 Diver Scuba 200m Stainless Steel AGS/Kinetic Diver. It dates to the February 1998 based on the caseback serial.

The SBBW055 belongs to an early set of Cal. 5M43 Kinetic Diver Scuba watches with Seiko's with the next generation 5M43 movement. It was later followed by the popular set of watches like the Titanium Grey Ghost Series. Original mineral crystal has a few light scratches - a little know detail about this watch is that the crystal is the same size as the famous Seiko SKX013 automatic - so you can easily have it upgraded to anti-reflective sapphire. The stainless steel case, screwdown caseback and bezel are in very good shape with few light scratches. Screw down crown secure without issues and quickset day(Kanji/English) and date works well. Lume is medium strong despite age. Movement is clean, there's a new capacitor installed last year by my watchmaker; it is able to charge up to full capacity. The watch keeps good time and all functions work; routine service, though, recommended for all vintages. An unused black thick leather strap with the original fat 19mm spring bars compliments the watch well. Watch is rated to 200m but has not been pressure tested. This SBBW055 is not easy to find and you get a vintage Rolex Explorer vibe at a fraction of the price - don't miss out on this little known Seiko gem!
