Gorgeous Antique French Bagues-style Rock Crystal Nine-Arm Chandelier, amethyst. The style of Maison Bagues is brought to life in this stunning chandelier. Exhibiting gorgeous genuine rock crystals with amethyst crystal accents you would be hard pressed to find a more beautiful chandelier. Unlike most other rock crystal chandeliers all of this chandelier's principle prisms are made of rock crystals and many of them are very large. Ee below for a detailed description of the seven types of rock crystal prisms. This chandelier is supported by a steel frame which holds six lighted candle arms. Each candle arm is decorated with beautiful metal work on the bobeche and candle holder. The design is enhanced with crystal spikes on the other three arms. In addition, attached to six arms are four amethyst and tear drop crystal prisms. The chandelier is further decorated with small crystal prisms. The main silver tube portion of the chandelier is encased with glass columns. The chandelier comes with authentic 3 1/2 inch beeswax candle covers. A fantastic fixture that would provide a dazzling display of reflected light and anchor an elegant dining room. Believed to be circa 1920 and made in France.
